Hello, my husband and I are searching for a dog and not having to easy of a time with it. He is in the Army and I am in the Park Service. I end my season in September on Cape Cod and then join him in Alabama. I grew-up in MA and would like to get a dog before leaving. Breed specific rescues require a home visit and as I am moving this doesn't work. We have a fenced in yard in AL and no children, but are both in our 20s and have had family dogs before....
