My Bostons "The Parents" are great around children and they were easily trainable. They both are house trained and know simple commands: sit, come, stop. Plus a few more: Jump, roll, give me 5 :) If you have just a short amount of time to put in with them they will learn, as they are very smart dogs. I wouldn't trade them for any other breed.
