My name is Brittani. I have been taking in purebred rescue pugs for a few years now. My first Pug was an 8 year old male named Pugsley whose owner dropped him off at the vet and never returned. He was taken to the local animal shelter and when I saw his little grey face, I fell in love. He was a wonderful addition to my family. 2 years age,we recieved a phone call asking if we would foster a 6 year old female Pug, Pyper, whose owner was too sick to care for her.... (read more) She weighed 45lbs when we adopted her and could barely walk. Today, she is a fit and trim 15lb girl who enjoys running and playing with her 1 year old companion Pug, Twinkie. Twinkie came to us from a breeder that could not place her in a home due to an umbilical hernia. We have since had it repaired and she is happy and healthy and loves to zoom around the house with our 5 year old son, Eli. We are looking to find Twinkie a male Pug companion to grow up with.
