I have been hunting in the hardwoods on woodcock and grouse for over 30 years. I ran dogs competitively in field trials for 20 years. My current male dog Rusty is my 3rd Vizsla and he is a champ. Got him started in the woods at 4 months old. He was also great on pheasant in South Dakota last season. I did all of my training with him in the hardwoods on wild birds.
