Firehouse Chihuahuas does offer midwife services. Firehouse Chihuahuas has been whelping puppies since 2005. We are quite experienced in this procedure, however we are not a veterinarian. If your dog experiences birthing difficulties that require medical attention you will need to take your dam to the nearest veterinarian medical facility. Owner Must Understand: I _________understand that Firehouse Chihuahuas is not a veterinarian and if my dog is in need of emergency medical attention it is my responsibility as her owner to take her to a facility that will perform necessary medical procedures to birth my puppies safely into the world. Veterinary expenses incurred for emergency treatment are not the responsibility of Firehouse Chihuahuas but myself. I will still be responsible for chargers incurred for services rendered by Firehouse Chihuahuas. Midwife services are $65.00 per hour. Dam's owner must understand that most puppies are born between 30 minutes -1 hour apart from their siblings. The average birthing process can last between 2-5 hours. The charges begin to accrue when you , the dam's owner place your female in charge of Firehouse Chihuahuas for whelping purposes only.
