Karen's Kennels

We are a family-owned hobby breeder, located in Northport, Alabama. We specialize in Lhasa Apso and Maltese puppies, which are all AKC registered.

My husband, John, and I bought about 20 acres of land where we built a big barn and put my kennels next to it. We raise buffalo, donkey, chicken, and have fish in our pond.

We have 4 children, 8 grandchildren (1 more on the way), and 1 great grandchild--they love to come to the farm and see all the animals!... (read more)

I have been raising puppies for over 40 years and have met a lot of nice people. I have also had several come back to me to buy a second puppy! All of my dogs used in the breeding process are quality, healthy dogs.

The puppies are available for their forever homes when they are 8 weeks old. They will be AKC registered, have their first shots, and have been dewormed.
