Kates Country Canines

After seeing my first Bernese Mountain Dog in a PetSmart store and falling head over heals in love, I did a lot of research and decided that I wanted to breed Bernese. We were able to get our first couple from a very good breeder who was retiring and have since grown. We are located in southern IN and have puppies throughout the United States. We breed for temperament and health. Although we do not and have never taken the time to show our dogs, there are many champions in their bloodlines.... (read more) My daughter Katie, is my inspiration and such a big help with all of the dogs and puppies. I call her my dog whisperer. We love what we do and I think that shows in our puppies. Our puppies are born in my bedroom where they spend the first 3 weeks (at least) of their lives. Then they go to a front room for a week or so before they are fully introduced to the others animals. We strive to have our puppies fully socialized by the time they are ready to go home. And when they go home, they will be up to date on their vaccines and be de-wormed and have their dew claws removed. We are there for a lifetime of support after you get your puppy from us.
