Lucky Kentucky Labradors

Hello I have an male AKC registered chocolate mammoth size Labrador Retriever for STUD. His hips and elbows will be OFA certified after he turns two on September 11th 2013. Brody is a field body type lab with English influence in his head, chest and temperment. He weighs 90 lbs and stands almost 27 inches tall at his shoulder. He is our family dog who has amazed us with his gentle spirit, remarkable intelligence and willingness to please. He learned to sit, wave, lay down, stay, crawl on his belly, roll over, and shake before he was 8 weeks old. His concentration and enthusiasm have only improved from there. Since then, he has learned "speak", which is a big bark, "whoof", which is a small bark, and growel. He knows how to heel off leash as well. Brody is started in obedience, dock diving, waterfowl hunting, and deer antler shed hunting. He just finished up his first waterfowl season and loves it. He is composed in the blind and responsive on the retrieve. his first shed season just started so we will see how he does with it. Dock diving competitions will start this summer. Brody is water crazy, with high retrieve drive and excellent obedience. But unlike many field labs he can show energy and eagerness in the field yet be calm and obedient in the house. He was raised from 6 weeks to 8 months with children 0-5 at our inhome daycare and was amazing with them. He is the ONLY lab I know of who has NEVER chewed anything he was not supposed to. All our furniture/toys/base boards/cords/etc. are intact! Brody is offered for stud to AKC and UKC registered Labrador retrievers and Standard Poodles. CKC registered labradoodles will also be accepted. If you are a service dog breeder, other breeds might be accepted as service dog breeding occurs on temperament qualifications instead of breed sometimes.
