Our name, M4C Dobermanns, pays tribute to Mr. Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann, the man who originally created the majestic breed.
My husband and I have been proud parents of Doberman Pinschers for approximately 21 years. We initially fell in love with the breed when we met a friend’s Doberman “Viking”, and it took us just over a year to be in a position to have one of our own. The intelligent, loyal, attentive, athletic, fearless, and protective breed is amazing to have as a family member, but they are not for everyone.... (read more) Over the years, we have enjoyed the breed in many ways: at home on the ranch/farm, horseback riding, motorcycling, camping, at lakes and rivers, for walks in town, etc., always knowing that our family and children had loyal, watchful protectors.
We are not a “kennel”. Our dogs are family and live in the house with us as do our puppies, there are no kennels or dog runs, our dogs are with me or us almost all day every day and we work from our home office. We produce very few litters as we want every single puppy to be well loved and cared for just like our dogs. Our preference is the bolder, thicker, broader European Doberman over the more petite/refined looking American Doberman. Many might tell you there is no difference, but I assure you there is.
We selected our two Dobermans after an extensive search based on the pedigrees of the parents (which can be seen on their respective pages) with emphasis given to show and working dog titles (International Champions, Champions, etc.), testing results, the reputation of the respective breeders, and the aesthetic look of the parents and grandparents.
We look forward to talking with you as you consider expanding your family with one of our beautiful puppies whether it be for work, show, protection, security, a playmate, or simply a loyal companion.
